Description
Crawford’s fifteenth symphony holds a personal place in his heart. This symphony is one of his works where almost every part of it was full of original ideas. When he had the chance to finish writing this symphony after writing down the opening idea, he finished the symphony in 7 days. At the time when he wrote this symphony, he was approaching the worst moments of his childhood life. The first movement is full of emotional mood swings that he was feeling at the moment. Crawford Symphony 15 is considered to be one of his most emotional symphonies.
This symphony has amazing Oboe, English horn, Low Brass, Cello, Horn, Viola, Piccolo Violin, and trumpet excerpts.
Fun Fact: This symphony is in the key of A Minor because to Crawford, that key defines Anger
